Anita Manning, from BBC 'Antiques Road Trip' fame, opened the Paisley Arts Institute Annual Exhibition at the historic Glasgow Art Club . There was a full house as Anita captivated the audience with thrilling talk of her recent sale of 'Dahlias' by the Scottish Colourist Francis Cadell - with Anita bringing the hammer down at a record price of £220,000 at her auction house - Great Western Auctions in Scotstoun, Glasgow
This is a fitting tribute to Scottish Art and Anita Manning has helped bring much hope for the future and the developing visual arts scene in Glasgow.
The Paisley Arts Institute Annual Exhibtion runs until 8th June in the Mackintosh Room at The Glasgow Art Club
