The Royal Scottish Society of Painters in Watercolour (RSW) is holding its

 141st Open Annual Exhibition  - The Patron  is HRH The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay. 

I am delighted my watercolour 'Upper Manhattan' was selected for the prestigious RSW Exhibition 2021. Many wonderful watercolours can be seen including a memorial  to Dame Elizabeth Blackadder RA RSA RSW RGI  ( 1931 - 2021), a highly esteemed member of the RSW for 60 years., alongside powerful works from John Kingsley, John Brown, Michael Clark, Jennifer Irivine and Esther Donaldson-  December 2021

Keir Starmer Opens Proceedings at Royal Institute of Oil Painters

Huge interest in this year's Royal Institute of Oil Painters (ROI) show with queues down the Mall  for the first chance to see some 300 new Oil Paintings at this prestigious event. Sir Keir Starmer, Leader of the Opposition,  opened proceedings with  powerful support for the Institute's  emphasis on  young painters. Sir Keir was clearly enjoying the company of artists, a colourful contrast to House of  Commons! 

The Royal Institute of Oil Painters Annual Exhibition runs until 5th December not to be missed!

Bridgeman Artists of The Month - Peter Graham ROI

Peter Graham has been selected as one of the  'Muse' -Artists of the Month - June 2021 within the Bridgeman Art Library.

Founded by the inspirational Viscountess Harriet Bridgeman CBE, The Bridgeman Art Library  is a fine art archive based in London, Paris, New York and Berlin. They handle the work of many artists and institutions including Lucian Freud (1922-2011), Ken Howard (b 1932), The British Museum, The National Gallery of Scotland and the Barnes Foundation.

 "I have been working with Bridgeman  for over 25 years (yes even I cannot believe this) You can explore  a comprehensive collection of my paintings within the library"
